ABOUT THE FIRM
De Leon & Washburn, P.C. was founded in 1977 by Hector De Leon, former General Counsel of the Texas Department of Insurance, a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law and a native Austinite.
Since its inception, the firm's practice has included insurance, health, employee benefits issues, trade association and corporate law. The firm's clients include companies, third party administrators and employers desiring representation on corporate, regulatory and employee benefits issues, including ERISA matters.
The firm's practice also includes general civil practice, civil litigation, appellate law services, legislative and governmental affairs, real estate, employment and securities law. Mr. De Leon is board certified in administrative law. The firm encourages continuing professional development and involvement in civic and professional association activities.
