D&W Secures Dismissal of Decade-Old Case

Today, De Leon & Washburn, P.C. (“D&W”) secured a rare dismissal of claims in a case pending before the State Office of Administrative Hearings (“SOAH”).  Nearly ten years following the initial complaint, enduring constant scrutiny and review during the entirety, D&W was recently retained by the Respondent for representation before SOAH.  After conducting only two depositions -- that of the Department’s expert witness and staff member -- the case was dismissed with prejudice, with no disciplinary action taken.
